Welcome to the Shen group

Our group explores novel quantum and classical phenomena of light, and its interactions with materials at nano-scales. Current research interests focus on exploiting new artificial material concepts (metamaterials), as well as fundamentally new possibilities for optical physics and quantum information processing.

Specific research topics:
