Bill Moran (Melbourne)

Bill Moran is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Melbourne, where he is attached to the Centre of Expertise in Networked Decision Sensor Systems. Previously he has been a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Adelaide and at Flinders University. He also serves as a consultant to the Australian Department of Defence through the Defence Science and Technology Organisation and as a consultant to Prometheus Inc of Rhode Island. His main areas of interest are in signal processing, particularly with radar applications, waveform design and radar theory, and sensor management. He also works in various areas of mathematics including harmonic analysis and number theory. He has published widely in these areas.
